    WSIB Workwell Audit and Meeting Legislated

    The requirements of a WSIB Workwell Audit provides the framework in what is required to implement a health and safety system.  Whether you are undergoing a Workwell Audit or wish to be proactive the requirements of an audit will assist you to meet your goal. Although sometimes overwhelming and time consuming, the benefits far outweigh the time or cost in implementing the requirements of a WSIB Workwell Audit.

    Step 1 - Gap Analysis

    Assess what is currently in place and what is required to meet a WSIB Workwell Audit.

    Step 2 - Workplace Hazard Analysis

    Complete a Workplace Hazard Analysis on each job category. This is a requirement of JHSC Certification Level II Training.

    Step 3 - Policies and Procedures

    Recognize, assess and develop policies and procedures to control hazards while outlining roles and responsibilities for all parties concerned.  This includes assessing gaps in your human resource system as well as your health and safety system.

    Develop a color coded Continuous Improvement Plan outlining timelines and responsibilities that will be used long after the audit is complete.

    Step 5 - Continued Support after the Audit
